Nearly 50 of our salespeople working in the domestic and Austrian market were given a presentation by Bridor Ambassador Slavomir Sevcik. The two-hour presentation covered both old and new products, as well as traditional sourdough breads and fantastic cakes.
There's hardly anyone in the catering industry who doesn't know about the Bridor. The company is an inescapable player in the bakery segment, a dynamic and innovative company that produces and distributes premium cakes, pastries and confectionery in over 100 countries around the world. Their credo is „bread is the heart of life”, the art of baking is part of the cultural heritage of every country, so respect for authenticity is one of their most important principles. Although they work with chefs and bakers all over the world, produce authentic products, respecting in every way the traditions of the country.

Founded in 1988, the large company started in Quebec, but it didn't take long for Bridor de France to start operations in the French province of Brittany, near Rennes. Here, they aim to meet the growing demand for frozen pasta, especially from their elite partners. Bridor de France has set up a dedicated production facility where, from the outset, it has sought to implement the concept of its founder Louis Le Duff: „small-scale production under large-scale conditions”. Their high commitment to tradition and to the profession is demonstrated by the fact that they have been official partners of the Bocuse d'Or competition since 2011.
From croisant to pastel del nata
Their wide range of products includes French classics, folded and filled delicacies, pastries, wholemeal products in both savoury and sweet flavours. The company has recently acquired a factory in Portugal to increase its market coverage, where it is experimenting with new products in addition to well-established favourites. A technical chef representing the company and our staff worked together to create delicious sandwiches and finger foods. These were made using olive and thyme bars, folded loaf, traditional baguette and ciabatta. In addition to their excellent quality, they offer an exciting alternative for those party-goers who want to treat their guests to the best baked goods. These were accompanied by Portuguese sourdough bread baked on stone oven and the vanilla filling familiar from pastel del nata, this time finding a new home in a super-soft doughnut. The rprimary objective of the event in addition to raising awareness of the company, so that our salespeople know everything about the manufacturing process of each product. This enables them to provide our partners with the most personalised solutions possible.
