Chicken liver is a very divisive food. Some people love it in all its forms, others can't look at it. I'm a fan of the former, and this recipe is a regular favourite on the dinner table at home, so I'm sharing it with you.<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ingredients for 4 people:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

60 dkg chicken liver<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

15 dkg red onion<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 dkg pork fat: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salt <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ground pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 g red pepper<\/p>\n\n\n\n

20 dkg cocktail tomatoes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1 kg potatoes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5 dkg butter<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2,5dl milk<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preparing the chicken liver<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Clean the chicken livers thoroughly, rinse them in cold water and drain in a colander. Heat the fat and fry the chopped onion until golden brown. Once this is done, add the chicken livers, fry both sides until soft and buttery<\/a>. Season to taste and add a splash of water and boil for a few minutes to leave a little gravy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, clean the potatoes and boil them in salted water. When cooked, drain the cooking water, mash with a potato masher and whisk with the hot milk and butter until fluffy. Season with salt, ground white pepper and nutmeg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the cocktail tomatoes whole over a high heat. This sweet tomato will be the perfect accompaniment to the spicy liver. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When everything is ready, you can serve it as you like. <\/p>\n
