Tucked away on the edge of the forest, the restaurant is a veritable oasis for those who want a few quiet hours, a delicious meal and the closeness of nature. The Kisrig\u00f3 Restaurant is just like visiting your grandmother in the countryside. You are guaranteed to leave with a full belly and can't wait to return!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The history of the place goes back to 1981, when the then owner thought it would be great to have a place at the edge of the forest where you could have a strong black beer or an ice-cold spritzer at the beginning\/end of a hike. They have since grown into a full-fledged restaurant, and much more than that, but more on that later. Since December 2021, they've been conquering the world with a new team and a new concept, and success hasn't been far behind...<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the words of chef Norbert K\u00fcrt\u00f6si, with the new owner they want to bring back and pass on the folk hospitality and closeness to nature. \u201eWe prepare big portions of food here because we love to eat and we love to give. Cooking on fat, peasant style<\/a>, as in the old days, served in a small red casserole dish and covered with a plaid tablecloth. And what is just as important is that everyone is at home. Businessmen in suits, businessmen coming to a corporate event, hikers in boots and families with small children can all feel at home here.\u201d I don't doubt that for a minute, because you really can spend a whole day here. While children can pet bunnies or chase chickens in one corner, older people can play foosball, ride horses or simply lie back in one of the deckchairs. If that's not enough, you can take the Kisrigo Restaurant experience home with you!
