We can all use an idea or something new in our meals that can be incorporated into our daily routine as a quick, nutritious meal. Such as vegan fish fingers, which you can also check out the ingredients for.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

More and more of us are paying attention to the description on food packaging, what ingredients it contains, i.e. what we eat, what we become. Vegans have opted for a clean, meat and meat-free diet, but they need to be equally careful about their nutrient intake. In many cases, meat is the main source of protein, which can be replaced by pulses, for example, but the quantity and quality of the protein we put into our bodies is also important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several vegans have said that fish and cheese are the staple foods they have found harder to give up than other staple foods when making a lifestyle change. When principles and health don't allow for the consumption of these, that's when perfect \u201cimitations<\/a>\u201c. There have been several vegan variations on the cheeses, and even grated tofu often lends a flavour, especially when flavoured with brewer's yeast flakes, a favourite cheese sauce for vegans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But replacing fish is not so easy. We're not talking about the unpleasant mud taste or the splinters, but the delicate, tender and nutritious fillets, which are best found in the meat of predatory fish. Vegan meals exclude this, so it's time for the vegan fish fingers<\/a>, which has long been made in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fish fingers, the real nostalgia<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

There is not always an explanation for why we love fast food, junk food in all its forms. It's the speed, the flavour enhancement, the forbidden feeling, the delicious form, the way you can get it or buy it quick-frozen in the shops and have it ready in 10 minutes at home. Like fish fingers, which we used to buy when mum couldn't cook, or in the rented flat it seemed the best idea for dinner. We loved dipping it in spicy mayonnaise, stuffing it into a hot dog bun or crushing it on top of a big fresh salad. Fresh it was crispy on the outside, nice and white crumbly and soft on the inside. The only problem was that after 1 hour we were starving. It wasn't very filling. The vegan fish fingers are a different story from ingredients<\/a> that doesn't make you starve immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is pea protein and why is it healthy?<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

One of the basic ingredients in vegan fish fingers is pea protein. Protein powders have become very popular with bodybuilders and dieters in recent years, with vegetable proteins becoming increasingly popular. Of these, yellow pea protein has outstanding nutritional value. Its production technique is transparent and relatively simple. The green peas are peeled and dried to make them yellow. They are then ground to a fine powder and water is used to remove the starch and everything else, leaving only pure protein. It is then redried, ground and made into a paste which can then be used freely for any food. It's easily digestible, heart-friendly, very unlikely to cause any allergies. It builds muscle nicely, contains adequate amounts of amino acids, and helps with weight loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
