Whether it's a summer fete or a get-together with friends in the garden, it's also a Sunday lunch. For me, beef cheeks are the best ingredient! It can be made extremely crumbly and the high collagen content makes it an inimitable gravy. All this can be topped off by cooking it in a pot on the open fire, but in this case I would use a larger quantity, as you can always use the leftovers later.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"cimsor1 wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"cimsor2\">Ingredients for 4 people:<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1,2 kg&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gourmetmarket.hu\/product\/198005\">beef cheek cubed<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 dkg mangalica or plain pork fat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 clove&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gourmetmarket.hu\/product\/101013\">garlic<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>25 dkg&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/gourmetmarket.hu\/product\/198658\">diced onion<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 tomato, diced<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 dkg <a href=\"http:\/\/v\">ground sweet paprika<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 caper pepper, diced,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3 dkg salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1g black pepper<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1g ground cumin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>1 pc <a href=\"https:\/\/gourmetmarket.hu\/product\/100105\">bay leaf<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2,5 dl red wine (Merlot)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"cimsor1 wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"cimsor2\">Preparing the red wine beef stew:<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Suppose the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/tokeletes-szarvas-porkolt\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cooker<\/a>, heat over the fire. Melt the fat and saut\u00e9 the onions until they are translucent. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the crushed garlic and after 1 minute the diced garlic. <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/marhapofa-ertekes-alapanyag\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">beef cheeks<\/a>. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mix thoroughly, stir fry as much as you can, then add the diced peppers, tomatoes, spices and pour over the red wine. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lightly salt and simmer for 3-4 hours.
