Yes, there is such a thing. It was new to me and although the name is quite catchy, I looked it up. Flexitarian (the word is derived from the English flexible and vegetarian<\/a> the love child of words) is one whose diet is largely plant<\/a> but sometimes consumed fish<\/a> or meat<\/a>so it is flexible on the issue.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Millions of Britons plan to be more environmentally conscious vegetables<\/a> will eat in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a survey of 2,000 people, 31% more people set a target of eating meat-free as often as possible compared to last year, and Londoners were the overwhelming majority of those who said yes to the question. A significant proportion of respondents chose to do so because of environmental protection and sustainability, with another large group choosing to do so because of social media presence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One in five people who took part in the survey would like it to be visible on their social media platform that they are doing their bit for Veganuary, vegetarian<\/a> January) movement, and 45% people do not feel the need to eat meat every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The survey was initiated by the Rustlers burger brand, a spokesperson for the company said, \u201eIn recent years, many people have made lifestyle changes, adopted new dietary habits and significantly reduced their meat consumption. And the first month of the year has always been popular when it comes to trying new things.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food psychologist Greg Tucker says: \u201eJanuary is always a new beginning and people are more motivated to try something new and different. More and more people are cutting back on meat and switching to a flexitarian diet because it's better for the planet. It's no longer a question of what not to eat, but how to eat better.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
