Over the centuries, it has been consumed by many cultures and used in many ways, especially in coastal regions. It is available as an appetizer or main course in most restaurants. It can be prepared in almost any way: steamed, boiled, baked or <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/grillezett-polip-tagliatelle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grillezve<\/a>. Steaming is one of the most popular and easiest ways to prepare shellfish meat. A <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/szent-jakab-kagylo-mentas-citrusos-zoldborso-serrano-chips\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">mussels <\/a>cooked with water, wine and spices until they blossom and the delicious starter is ready. Raw mussel meat can also be delicious, especially if seasoned with a little lemon juice and garlic.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"cimsor1\"><span class=\"cimsor2\">Use in gastronomy<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The black <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/kekkagylo-egeszseg-tenger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shellfish<\/a> is also special because it pairs very well with other foods. For example, clam chowder can be an excellent starter for a fish main course, or a <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/roston-harcsafile\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">grilled <\/a>with vegetables, but it is also delicious with salad or tomato pasta, and it is also well suited to Asian cuisine. The Japanese use it in sushi, for example, while the Chinese use it in soups, and it is also perfect for adding a distinctive flavour to dishes. Its salty, marine flavour can be combined with other ingredients, such as the aforementioned <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/grillezett-polip\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">with citrus<\/a>, garlic, tomatoes and parsley.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"cimsor1\"><span class=\"cimsor2\">Points of interest<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most interesting things about <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/fesu-kagylo-recept\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">with clam meat<\/a> is that the colour of the <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.matusz-vad.hu\/en\/kagylo-fozese-otthon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">in shell<\/a> melanin in the skin.
