A law has been passed to transmit traffic data and order data to the National Tourist Information Centre (NTAK). Only certified software can be used by businesses and the NTA (Hungarian Tourist Agency) <\/em>free \u2018Guest software\u2019 for small businesses. After two postponements, the introduction of the new system will be compulsory for all stakeholders from 1 July 2023. There have been many questions from industry participants about how the new monitoring and reporting system will be implemented. What steps will be required from the relevant service providers to comply with the legally binding environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NTAK is a new innovative system that provides central control, assistance and rapid reaction to solve specific problems. Possibility<\/a> businesses to think long-term, which can put their market position in a realistic framework. If full coverage is achieved, the viability of the sector could also change for the better. The most important thing at this stage is registration, which could provide a pioneering solution at European level for the smooth operation of the hospitality and tourism sectors.<\/p>\n

No more postponements<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The law was passed years ago, but its implementation has been delayed. As it stands now, from 1 July 2023, all businesses and tourism operators will be obliged to provide data to the NTAK. The Hungarian Tourism Agency, accepting the request of professional organisations, including the Hungarian Hospitality Industry Association (MVI), is submitting a proposal to the government to make data reporting mandatory from 1 July 2023 only for businesses with a turnover of over 100 million. Shops with a turnover of between 12 and 100 million will be obliged to start reporting from 1 January 2024, while shops with a turnover of less than 12 million will not be obliged to start reporting, only to register. If your operator has not yet done so, we recommend that you do so without delay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
