Probably there is hardly a table on which alcohol is not spilled during the New Year's farewell, and probably there is hardly an adult in our country who has not experienced the agony of waking up the next day with a case of the willies.The key to opening the door on New Year's Eve is in everyone's pocket, but there are tricks that can be used to reduce the price of the next day's debauchery. What are they? I'll tell you!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcohol consumption is thought to be as old as human civilisation. It is recorded that people were drinking intoxicating drinks produced by fermenting cereals, rice or fruit as long as 7000 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The consumption of alcohol has been linked to holidays and special occasions since time immemorial. But it's also not new to sip these drinks to relax and enhance pleasure. Well, now there's a reason to drink both!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prevention before you go out partying<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Make sure you drink plenty of fluids, preferably water, before you get into the New Year's Eve fun. The more experienced ones also know that if they have a mouthful of fatty food, or even greasy bread, before drinking, they can do much to prevent themselves from getting drunk too quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But why is it useful?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alcohol dehydrates the body, speeding up the metabolism. If you drink plenty of water before consuming it, you will have a lot to lose. Fatty foods reduce and slow down the absorption of alcohol, so the first few drinks don't hit as hard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can also be clever...<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While we don't do too much damage to our bodies during the party, drinking plenty of water or non-alcoholic juice with a glass of wine or a glass of spirits can help. This can help to compensate for the constant loss of water and also to replace the minerals that are lost with water. Eating salted peanuts, almonds and other fatty seeds can also be beneficial. It is also important to break up drinking with food. This is useful if only because you can stay longer at the alcohol level where you can still really enjoy the party and not end up in a toilet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sort by colour and variety<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everyone knows that it is not good to mix alcohols. But a shot of spirits thrown in with a beer is a great enhancer, which is exactly what this hit combo was created for. If you opt for it, it's not worth adding other types of drink to your palette, because you're bound to wake up with a headache the next morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Champagne is almost an essential part of the New Year toast. Alternate it with a wide range of other alcoholic drinks and you're guaranteed a horrible wake-up call the next morning.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another observation is that coloured drinks are more harmful than light-coloured ones. This is probably due to the sophisticated processes used in their preparation and the wide variety of ingredients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of the main causes of hangovers and headaches is the dehydrating effect of alcohol. 1 g of alcohol results in 10 grams more water excreted. It is a misconception that beer counteracts this effect. After drinking half a litre of beer, not only do you lose fluid, but you also excrete an additional 2 dl of water from your body.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

What can we do about cat scratch?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It's a good idea to have a big glass of water before bedtime and avoid fizzy drinks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A remedy that is widely used and considered effective is to supplement this with 1-2 pills containing diclofenac.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After waking up, especially if thirst is accompanied by dry mouth, headache, nausea, drink plenty of water. Bananas, eggs, honey, porridge, oatmeal, oilseeds, pickled cucumbers and sauerkraut are good ways of replenishing the minerals, salt and vitamins lost from the body. Stomach upset is caused by a build-up of stomach acids, which can be relieved by eating boiled potatoes or drinking milk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be careful with coffee and cola, or at least choose only one of the two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vitamin C is good for you, as is spinach, and eggs are a great accompaniment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
