From 19-23 October 2024, SIAL Paris, one of the world's largest and most prestigious food exhibitions, celebrated its 60th anniversary this year. Held every two years at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, it is a must-attend event for the industry. It is where the future of gastronomy is shaped and where the latest trends and innovations are presented.
This year's exhibition attracted an incredible number of participants: more than 7,500 exhibitors from 127 different countries and nearly 285,000 trade visitors from 205 countries came to get a glimpse of the latest developments in the global food industry. The more than 400,000 products on display at the exhibition impressed visitors from all over the world, with unique ingredients and innovative solutions. Hungary was represented by several Hungarian companies as exhibitors and we are proud that Hungarian companies were able to show what they can offer to the world market on the international stage.
Matusz-Vad Zrt. visited the event again this year to get first-hand information on the latest gastronomic trends and to explore new sourcing opportunities. Events like these are a real inspiration for us, as they give us the opportunity to meet our suppliers face-to-face and to gather ideas and experience from leading players in the international food market.
