At Matusz-Vad, we are committed to the belief that the secret to our decades of success lies in working together. That's why we take great care to ensure that our colleagues feel at home together, not just inside the office, but outside as well. This time, we held an informal team-building cookout at our Győr office, where we had a round of stew, homemade pizza and a great atmosphere.

The company-wide team building event was held in Likócs this time

Although many people don't know, our company is not based in Budapest, but Started from Győr, the owner, Balázs Matusz, founded the company in 1994, recognising a gap in the market for game meat. One of our two sites is therefore still located here, and not far from it is a charming stretch of beach in the Danube estuary, which is also owned by the company. Every year, various outdoor events are organised here, which is not only a great place to relax, but also a great way for colleagues from both cities to get to know each other better. While the food was being prepared, Balázs also offered the opportunity to go on a multi-circular cruise, which proved to be one of the most popular activities. In our company, the management team is not separated from the rest of the company, but literally rowing in the same boat, working towards a common goal.

Eat-drink, drink-dine-dan

As usual, the food is locally prepared, this time with an authentic Hungarian nailstew was on the agenda. Of course, the less adventurous and vegetarian colleagues were not forgotten either! They were endlessly roasted with a variety of pizzas, at one point it would have been hard to tell which was selling better. The thirst quenching was done from the minibar, where some quenched their thirst with gin and tonics, others with brandy, others with soft drinks. In the background, pleasant music and crickets chirping set the mood.
