We can be a thousand percent sure that there is no need to fear huge crowds, but there is probably a queue. The owners have done a lot to make it so, as when you enter through the special gate, you are greeted by a magnificent garden. Along the winding paved garden path, you can admire unique palm trees sourced from all over the world, including Chinese windmill palms, Martian fan palms, Canary Island date palms, Senegalese date palms and even Mexican blue palms. As we walk to the restaurant, we are greeted by a true paradise atmosphere, a wonderful prelude to an exclusive meal.
Magic for two
The restaurant is really an intimate environment where a couple can dine in privacy. The room, which serves as a restaurant, is equipped with all amenities. It has been decorated in the style of a century-old style, with large comfortable leather armchairs, a chandelier and candle holders, antique paintings and a beautiful fireplace. Of course, the chiselled dining table setting reflects exactly this atmosphere. It's like stepping into a fairytale world. Guests are always greeted and escorted into the „sanctuary” by the smiling owner.
The food is made using only local ingredients, from the best artisanal products of the area. Pasta, olive oil and bread are made locally. The menu is constantly changing as the owners prepare everything fresh. They serve 4-5 courses, mostly from the magical world of Italian cuisine. At the end of your meal, they will be happy to pack you a small gift for your visit. Local wines are a must, but you can also choose from the finest drinks available in the world.
Hotel Schloss Mönchstein*****
This wonderfully romantic mini restaurant will literally transport you to the clouds. Anyone who has seen the story of Golden Hair will already have some idea of this special place. What's even more tempting is that it's not that far from us, about a 5-hour drive. The restaurant is located in the tower room of the Schloss Mönchstein castle in Salzburg. Mozart's hometown therefore offers visitors a unique dining experience.
The luxury hotel offers a historic atmosphere, a perfect ambience, outstanding services and first-class service. The Glass Garden offers a unique view of Salzburg's rooftops, as do the floor-to-ceiling windows in the more modern wing. The restaurant has been awarded several Michelin stars.

This is perhaps one of the most unique restaurants. It is located in Värmland, Sweden, and is run by a couple. The restaurant has one table and one chair and serves only one guest a day. The restaurant is located on the owners' property, which they protect like a little paradise of their own. As it is all private property, no one is actually allowed in. Everything is done by them and not at all driven by economic interests. The micro-restaurant serves mostly traditional dishes made with local ingredients. Unlike luxury restaurants, they offer three, but more substantial, courses.
The most interesting thing, which is almost unique in this „restaurant”, is that on the one hand, they welcome anyone, no matter who they are. No matter what your financial status, age, social position, skin colour, etc... because they run their restaurant not for economic reasons, but for hobby and good will. The other shocking thing is that everyone pays as much for this service as they think they should. So there is a restaurant in the world where you can eat well for a penny.
