This is certainly the easiest and most beautiful brie fondue recipe in the world, and this time it's easy to make at home. If you use the Président one-kilo package, the whole party will be grateful, but also perfect for restaurants!
Ingredients for 6-8 people
For the cheese:
- 1 kg brie cheese wheel
- 50 g honey
- 3 pieces Santa Ines bagett
- 50 g walnuts
- 50 g cashew nuts
For the cranberry sauce with cranberries:
- 50 dkg mycelium blueberries
- 2,5 dl dry red wine
- pinch of salt
- 10 dkg brown sugar
- 1 mk starch
Preparing the brie fondue:
Place the brie cheese in a cake tin lined with baking paper. Spread the top with a dice 1,5-2 cm from the edge. Sprinkle with with honey, sprinkle with chopped nuts and cashew nuts. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C for 20 minutes.
Preparing the cranberry sauce:
- Caramelise the brown sugar in a pan, then add the cranberries. Once it has released some of its juice, pour in the red wine, add a pinch of salt and reduce until the caramel has melted. Thicken with the starch at the end.
- Bake the baguettes at 180 °C for 5-10 minutes, then leave to cool. Then slice and fry in a pan with olive oil.
- To serve, dip the brie fondue in the baguette, drizzle some of the homemade jam over the bites and sip a medium-bodied, dry red wine.
