This time we have brought you a really simple, spectacular and tasty starter, which is the steak carpaccio. But its biggest advantage is that it works like a real secret weapon, you can pull it out of the freezer at any time, it keeps for a long time and you don't need to turn on any kitchen equipment!
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 32 dkg whole steak
- 1 dl olive oil
- Salt, fresh ground pepper to taste
- 2 dkg mustard
- 4 dkg parmesan
- A handful of spinach/arugula
Preparing the steak carpaccio:
- Rub the prepared tenderloin well with salt, pepper and mustard.
- Roll out a large folpack and place the flavoured sirloin on top, then roll up and wrap like a scones. The aim is to get a nice, cylindrical shape.
- Then it can go in the freezer for at least 12 hours.
- When used, we take it out and in a frozen state, use a slicer to cut thin slices and place them around the plate.
- These slices will melt on the plate in an instant.
- Mix with olive oil to taste, chop the arugula/spinach and sprinkle with Parmesan.
- Serve with freshly toasted bread and top with cocktail tomatoes and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
Enjoy your meal!
