Our group of companies has expanded with its own fish processing plant, thanks to which, in addition to our wide range of frozen fish products, fresh fish products are now also available from our webshop.

On September 30, 2022, Matusz-Vad Zrt. took over FrissHal Ltd. Using the professional experience we have gained in almost 30 years, we will expand our portfolio and start processing and manufacturing fish products specifically for the catering industry. Our aim is to raise the high quality of service of Matusz-Vad Zrt. by offering a premium product group such as fresh fish. Founded in 2014 by a brother and sister team, the Balatonlelle-based company has already proven itself in the field of quality fish processing. They produce their products with heart and soul, which are fresh not only in name. The two companies, Balázs Matusz, CEO, and Imre Máté of FrissHal Kft., are looking to develop further as a joint effort. FrissHal Ltd. is also IFS quality certified, so it can sell its products to the largest multinational companies.

In the first round, the following fish will be added to our range:

  • Carp strain with head and tail 1 vacuum
  • Carp horseshoes 5-6 pcs /deep pp tray
  • Carp fillets 2-3 pieces / vacuum
  • Grey hake premium fillet 1,5 - 2 kg / vacuum
  • African catfish fillet skinned 2-3 /vacuum

  • Gastro Premium chowder in 1 litre bucket
  • Grey hake pacal 1 kg / vacuum
  • Grey hake liver 1 kg / vacuum
  • Grey mullet jaw 1 kg / vacuum

As almost all popular Hungarian fish species are available at FrissHal, we would like to continuously expand our range based on the feedback and needs of our partners. From January we will also start peeling Argentinian hake, so in addition to the usual gram-grade hake, the fish will now also be available cleaned.
