For many people, SimplePay is still a new and somewhat uncertain payment option, because we don't know exactly what is behind it. But in this article we answer all the questions you may have had so far.

We can lean back because it's safe!

The bank behind the SimplePay payment site is the bank itself. The content of our data is not known to the merchant, as it is both independent and protected. The merchant is also just an intermediary between the bank and the customer, so the issuing bank sets the terms and conditions entirely. If the issuing bank has authorised it, the system can accept it. So in effect we are communicating fully with the bank, and SimplePay is the service itself through which we can do this more quickly and easily.

What do large entrepreneurs and owners need to know?

SimplePay has become popular because it is simple, but at the same time reliable, which is the most important aspect of a payment application. You can fully track your order and your money, without the need for an intermediary or cash, which is much more convenient when paying larger amounts.

Let's look at an example!

In many cases, cash payments are problematic because restaurants don't always have enough cash on hand to cover the amount of the order. But owners are reluctant to leave their credit cards with chefs, for example, who mostly take the goods, so they wanted to make the process smoother. They make life easier not only for customers, but also for drivers, as there is no time wasted paying on the spot and customers can settle their account from anywhere in the world.

When the customer's invoice is ready overnight/morning, they will immediately receive an email notification, which they can settle immediately via SimplePay. You can do this until the driver arrives with the goods at the location and closes the customer's interface in the driver app.

Payment is very simple: you will be taken directly to the SimplePay site via the link in the email, where you can pay your bill without registering by entering your credit card details. However, if you have a SimplePay account, you just need to log in and approve the payment.

What about transfer accounts at Matusz-Vad Zrt?

In SimplePay, not only cash customers can pay their bills, but also those who are set up to pay by transfer. Many of them also use this method because it is easier to pay the bill than to log in to the bank and start the transfer. Moreover, when a customer with a transfer option receives a reminder e-mail (after 5, 10, 15 days), he can settle his debt immediately, because SimplePay is also available.

In the third case, where this possibility is available to partners, when customers are unable to settle their daily bill in any way (this refers only to cash customers), drivers are allowed to issue a bill of exchange in a limited number of cases. After such an issue, the partner will automatically receive a notification that a bill of exchange has been issued to him, which he can settle directly via the link in the e-mail.

What to look out for when paying with SimplePay?

- For cardholders, online payments are free of charge, as are payments at a traditional POS terminal.

- You can now pay online with your Maestro debit card. Contact your issuing bank for details.

- Card issuers protect the interests of cardholders, so if you make a purchase with a card and the merchant fails to deliver, you can lodge a complaint with the issuing bank. If it is justified, you will get your money back.

 - To identify the cardholder, a 3-digit verification code - also known as CVC2 or CVV2 - is located in the signature panel of the card (the 3-digit verification code is found after the card number and its last four digits). Please handle this code with the same care as the PIN code. (Source: www.simplepartner.hu)
