The recipe for Baja hallé is the result of a tradition that goes back many years. Since we already have a recipe from Szeged on our site, we wanted to please the other camp this time!
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 2 ½ kg carp strain with head and tail
- 3.75 l water
- 2 ½ heads onions (larger)
- 2 cherry peppers (to taste)
- 200 g match dough
- 2 ½ teaspoons red peppers
Preparation of the Baja Hallé:
- The kitchen ready carp horseshoe salt the slices and leave to stand for 2-3 hours.
- Bográcsba add the salted fish and chopped onion, add the water and bring to the boil.
- When it is bubbling, sprinkle with the red pepper, add the cherry peppers and simmer for 30-35 minutes.
- Serve the Baja fish with the fish and pre-cooked matcha noodles.
