A new national photo competition in the field of tourism and hospitality is being launched with the aim of creating a tradition. The aim of Tourism is Our Passion is for people working in tourism to capture the experience of service, creation and service - with a camera or even a mobile phone - and share these memories with the public.
For those who work or have worked in it, their jobs have changed radically, many are showing signs of fatigue, and some are close to giving up their profession or business. Give back their passion! Let us recall the beauty of our profession!
The photos in the photo competition give you a behind-the-scenes look at our profession, telling you what and how a service, a beautiful cocktail or a delicious main course that makes guests happy is created. The pictures give outsiders a glimpse into the special world of hotels, restaurants and catering.

The mission of the photo competition is to raise awareness of the situation, joys and challenges of people working in tourism and hospitality. It is also to help build community within the sector and to showcase or, if necessary, give back to workers their enthusiasm for their profession.
The theme of this year's competition is „Change”, to celebrate and commemorate an extraordinary period in the sector most affected by the pandemic. The past year has been as full of difficulties and hopelessness as it has been of solidarity and support. We want to see these moments - the change, the humour, the heroism and the silence - in the photos submitted to the competition. The organisers hope to continue the Tourism is our Passion Photo Award as a European competition next year.

The winning images will be on display in seven simultaneous exhibitions across the country, giving a behind-the-scenes look at our profession, while helping us to remember and envision the future.
