Experts and city dwellers have been asked by Time Out magazine to rank the best places in the world for food, entertainment, culture and community. Budapest's 11th district was ranked among the best.

The 49 coolest neighbourhoods in the world 27 000 city dwellers voted for the British magazine. Norrebro, Copenhagen, was named the coolest gastronomic district. Second was Chicago's Andesonville, third was Jongno 3-ga in Seoul, fourth was Leith in Edinburgh, fifth was Vilnius' Station District, sixth was Chelsea in New York and seventh was Újbuda. An important aspect of the survey was to take into account COVID, the pandemic-induced changes in restaurant and entertainment patronage.

In the latter assessment, they point out that the Gellért spa used to be the biggest attraction of the district, but nowadays the Danube bank, the bohemian cafés of Bartók Béla út, the bars, art galleries, the beach and the gastronomic restaurants of Kopaszi dam offer a curiosity for leisure. And among the restaurants and entertainment venues, the recently relocated Dürer Kert is considered a must.

Based on the survey, the magazine also created a plan for a perfect day in Újbuda. It starts with breakfast at the East Café Gallery and continues with a walk to Gellért Hill.
