What is Sirha

Sirha is a high quality international food exhibition held every year. There is hardly a sector that is not represented at this fantastic event. The food, hospitality and hotel industries, as well as companies providing related products and services, are all represented at Sirha. It is also safe to say that this exhibition is a celebration of these sectors. In addition to the exhibitions, in recent years it has hosted professional competitions and conferences, which have been of great help to market participants. The exhibition is an opportunity to learn about new technologies and products, so that professionals can get to know each other. This is the exhibition where everything is connected and whether you are a small start-up or a company with a long history, everyone can find new partners and surprising solutions for their activities and business interests.

A great opportunity for any company or individual involved in the gastronomy and food industry. Representatives of the HoReCa, hotel industry, food industry, related media and marketing sector, all from the Central European region and the world will participate in the exhibition. In recent years, almost seventeen countries have been represented, with more than three hundred exhibitors and several professional organisations. The fact that the number of foreign participants and visitors from the relevant sectors was between 20,000 and 25,000 says a lot about the international prominence of Sirha. There is no doubt that every year the exhibition grows in size and plays an increasingly important role! Sirha Budapest has been held in Budapest every two years since 2014.

Sirha is more than an exhibition

Not just an exhibition, but an event under the banner of innovation! Sirha also hosts a number of professional events that bring together different sectors. You can learn about competitors' activities, partners' thinking and discover the latest trends. Sirha is also an opportunity for professional dialogue between companies and professional organisations representing different products. In this way, the event can embrace all sectors and provide an opportunity for development.

The exhibition as a conference centre

Sirha is undoubtedly one of the largest in terms of size, but in addition to the exhibitions, there are also professional conferences. Sustainability is extremely important, especially for the sectors most affected by the pandemic! This is why events are a priority, where problems can be identified, professional organisations can express their views and participants can come away with many more solutions!

Among others, the National Association of Packaging and Material Handling will hold its now traditional conference, organized by the Hungarian Hospitality Industry Association (MVI), the Pannon Gastronomy Academy (PGA), the National Food Chain Safety Office (NÉBIH), the HoReCa and Event Section of the Hungarian Marketing Association, HALAL CONFERENCE, Sustainability Conference of the Responsible Gastro-Head.
