Ingredients:
- 1 bag edamame beans
- 3 pinches Maldon salt
Preparing the edamame beans:
- Now a very simple, but all the more great and healthy Asian starters, we have brought you a snack, if you like. Edamame beans, also known as soybeans, are a popular snack for Eastern in restaurants. To prepare it, boil enough water to cover the beans.
- Once the water has boiled, add a little salt, then add it and cook for at least 2-3 minutes.
- Then simply strain, place in a bowl and sprinkle with the salt flakes. The heat will melt the beans sufficiently and when you crack the pod with your mouth, you'll get a nice salty-sweet taste. Ideal for salads, but also perfect on its own as an accompaniment to a good film!
