The 5th arrondissement of Paris is definitely worth a visit, with its historic sites, cafés and monuments. There, on the waterfront, at 15-17 Quai de la Tournelle, you will find the restaurant La Tour d'Argent.

It is said to have opened in 1582, although there are no exact records, but it is considered to be the oldest restaurant in the French capital. The star chef of the time, Rourteau, opened a restaurant here, with a terrace offering incredible views of the Seine and Notre-Dame Cathedral.

It is also said that King Henry III discovered the fork here, the three-pronged prickly thing with which the gentlemen of Talia could lift a bite to their lips without getting greasy hands, and even that Louis XVI came here with his whole court to eat, and that Cardinal Richelieu, so well known from The Three Musketeers, was a favourite for his prune goose-roast. To put it in bulgarian terms, whoever mattered ate there. One for all, all for one!
