If we were to ask Hungarians what is the one dish that should not be missing from the Sunday table, beef soup would certainly be at the top of the list. We don't know why we haven't found a recipe for it on the site yet, so we'll quickly make up for this glaring omission. shortcoming!
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 60 dkg beef stock
- 20 dkg marrow bones
- 20 dkg carrots
- 10 dkg turnips
- 100 dkg celery
- 50 g kale
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 head of onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 tomato
- 6-7 grains of pepper
- Salt
- Parsley greens
Preparing the beef soup:
- The cattleman and the marrowy bone rinse with cold water and wash the vegetables. A bone and put the meat in a pot and fill with cold water. Add salt and start cooking over a medium heat.
- When it boils, remove the foam from it using a strainer. Continue to cook, again using the strainer to remove any foam that forms.
- Add the washed vegetables, halved peeled onion, garlic and whole pepper and simmer for 3 hours.
- Turn off the flame under the soup and let it rest.
- Strain the soup into another bowl, taking care not to stir up the clear, settled soup.
- Cook noodles or pasta of your choice, then add the cooked meat and vegetables serve with, and the beef broth is ready!
