Gravlax is one of the most spectacular ways to prepare salmon, and can be served as an elegant starter, but it's also a great way to dress up the simplest salad or sandwich!
Ingredients for 4 people:
- 600 g salmon
- 60 g salt
- 5 g white pepper
- 40 g granulated sugar
- 1 lemon
- 20 g fresh dill
Preparing the gravlax:
- A salmon lay the skinned part on the counter, skin the top and prepare the marinade.
- Mix the salt, white pepper, sugar, grated lemon zest and chopped dill, pour half of the spice mixture into a baking dish, place the fish, the rest of the spice should go on top of the fish and rub it in thoroughly so that the spice gets everywhere.
- Take a piece of aluminium foil and cover the pan tightly with it.
- Refrigerate for two days. Then slice thinly into thin slices serve with.
