The carnival is here, the drunken chicken is waiting at the plate! A classic carnival dish, a very simple but all the more ingenious dish.

Ingredients for 4 people:

Preparing the drunken chicken:

  • chicken drumsticks salt and pepper, then wrap them all in bacon. Place them in a baking dish, add the duck fat and the sliced smoked bacon. Pour over with white wine and place in a 180 °C oven, covered with aluminium foil. After 50 minutes of baking, remove the foil and bake for a further 15-20 minutes, until browned.
  • When the chicken thighs are cooked, strain the juice and bring to the boil in a saucepan. Thicken with sour cream and you have a great dip for the thighs.
  • Any with garnish but it's also great on its own.

Enjoy your meal!
